How do I sign up for Spotted?

To sign up for Spotted, go to the User Registration page. If you are already on the Spotted home page, click Sign Up For Free.

Then you can enter a user name and password. Next, fill in your account information.

You can use letters, numbers, dashes (-), and underscores ( _ ) to create your user name. You can use letters, numbers, dashes, underscores, and exclamation points (!) to create your password. No other special characters will be recognized. Your user name is not case sensitive, but your password is.

Click Create Account when you are done. If you want to clear the fields and start over, just click Reset.

What do I do if my user name is taken?

If someone else has already registered the user name you wanted, you can choose another one, or you can try adding some numbers or symbols to make your user name unique.

I forgot my user name or password.

If you’ve forgotten your user name or password, don’t worry. This is a pretty common problem, so we’ve tried to make it easy for you.

First, go to the Spotted Registration page and click on Forget your Password? or Forget your Username?, depending on which one you have forgotten.

Enter your email address into the text box and click Send. You should enter the email address you used to sign up for Spotted. We’ll send your user name or password to your email account.
